AKB48

In December 2005, producer Yasushi Akimoto created the idol group “AKB 48”. With the concept “meeting real idols daily”, AKB 48 performs at the exclusive AKB48 Theater in Akihabara almost everyday. They have already performed at “the 58th Kouhaku uta gassen” in 2007, and even have their own TV program “AKBINGO!”. As of September 2008 there are 18 members on team A, 16 members on team K and 17 members on team B with a total of 51.AKB48 Recently, there are popular election,and Yuko Oshima become the champion.
