The interview results

The interviewees were 8 overseas students (4 males and 4 females). The age range of the respondents was from 20 to 25 years. Their favorite music genres were Rock music, Psychedelic music, Reggae music, Pop music, classical music and Jazz music. 3 students like Japanese musicians. Other students are not interested in them especially. Three students’ favorite Japanese musicians are Perfume, Beat crusaders and Boom Boom Satellites.

Arashi is a Japanese boy band formed by Japanese talent agency Johnny&Associates.They are very popular and their good point is getting along with each other. They sing pop music.Sho Sakurai also sings rap.

AKB48

In December 2005, producer Yasushi Akimoto created the idol group “AKB 48”. With the concept “meeting real idols daily”, AKB 48 performs at the exclusive AKB48 Theater in Akihabara almost everyday. They have already performed at “the 58th Kouhaku uta gassen” in 2007, and even have their own TV program “AKBINGO!”. As of September 2008 there are 18 members on team A, 16 members on team K and 17 members on team B with a total of 51.AKB48 Recently, there are popular election,and Yuko Oshima become the champion. Funky Monkey Babys

They are Japanese famous musician. There are three members,Funky Kato, Monkichi and DJ Kemikaru. They are all from Hachioji in Tokyo. They belong to DREAMUSIC.

Their music genre is J-POP. We like them because their songs often cheer us, so we decided to introduce them.
